Emily Hollands was the first of eight children abducted the Burkittsville, Maryland area in a six-month period. She disappeared in November 13 of 1940 and was later killed.
Hollands was born in the year 1933.
Like the rest of the Burkittsville Seven, she was claimed to have had no prior associations with any of the kidnapped children except Kyle Brody.
On July 23, 1941, days after the discovery of her body and the sentencing of Rustin Parr, her former schoolmate Mary Brown was seen calling out to an "Emily". In the conversation, Mary cautioned Emily against associating with a certain "she".[1]
