Charlie Hobart was the deputy of Burkittsville, Maryland in 1941.
Biography[]
On May 25, 1941, local hermit Rustin Parr confessed to the murders of seven children. Hobart and Sheriff Damon Bowers hiked to Parr's house in the Black Hills Forest, where they found the mutilated remains of the children buried in the cellar.[1]
