Blair Witch

The Blair Witch Walk was a tour group that was created to take advantage of the publicity in Burkittsville that came as a result of the release of the The Blair Witch Project.

In 1999, members of one tour group were brutally murdered. The event became subject to the documentary Shadow of the Blair Witch as well as the fictional Hollywood dramatization Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows. Despite this event, the tour group continued to operate in some capacity.

In 1999 Ron Cravens led the investigation into the murders of the Blair Witch Walk tour group, alongside FBI agents.

Dominick Cazale, the former priest who heard Rustin Parr's last confession was known to have gone on the tour at least once with his wife Mary Cazale before the fateful incident that claimed his wife's life and burned his body. Detailed information regarding this subject was published in the book Blair Witch: The Secret Confession of Rustin Parr.
